Join me every week to learn about different small businesses
Maybe it's because I'm a small business owner myself, but I really love small businesses. I also love stories. Small Biz Energy is my way of merging my two loves together to tell the world more about different small businesses and the stories behind them. I believe that by shopping small and local, we can have greater economical and environmental impact in our communities.
Get ready to be inspired by entrepreneurial stories and learn about amazing products!

Tracy

TRACY YANG
PRODUCER, HOST & SMALL BIZ OWNER
Hello, I'm Tracy! Welcome to Small Biz Energy! I'm pretty sure I was born with an entrepreneurial spirit. I think I got the "hustle" DNA from my mother, Mama Yang. As a little girl growing up in Laos, Mama Yang began working to provide for her family when she was only five-years-old. As far back as I can remember, I always thought "outside-the-box" and loved setting big goals. Maybe it's because I'm a Capricorn? I don't know, but I have always believed in reaching for the stars. As for my love of storytelling? I also get that from Mama Yang. I grew up listening to her tell me all kinds of stories. Ghost stories, love stories, folklore, etc. To this day, she still tells me stories, and I still listen intently.
Currently, I own and operate a small family flower farm in Washington's beautiful Sky Valley. Outside of being a small business owner, I am also a full-time college student, pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing. Although I have a lot going on, I will always make time for my friends and family. When I am not hustling or buried in schoolwork, you can find me spending time with my partner, Nick, and our adorable dog, Donut.
